Postal vote

Won’t happen the tories are trustworthy

 

I've requested a postal vote (first time since I was a student in the 70s) cos we might be on our way to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and Wales (in that order) by then.

 

You don't have to post it, you can hand it in anytime before poling day.

 

You can also hand it in at a polling station if you wish.
Pain in the àrsé form to fill in now though if you choose to hand it in rather than post it.

And it's feckin annoying for the election staff, who have to have staff at the count centre to deal with handed in PVs after the polling stations close.

If you ask for a PV, bleeding well post it.

As redhelen says. My post box is as far as the polling station. And I know if I go to the polling station I more sure in the knowledge it'll probably get to the counting station.

 

I actually enjoy popping into the village hall and doing it that way. And shouting “f*** the Tories” as the rest of the room stands up and applauds.

A vote for anyone else, even not voting, could lead to this undesirable getting in

 

Your local electoral registration office (probably at your council offices) any time up to polling day. You can also take it to a polling station in your constituency on polling day - no need to show any id.

We will take ours to the registration office before we set off on our travels again.
