I also think it should be an option. My grandmother had around 10 years in a care home with Alzheimer’s. After about 2 years she couldn’t remember anyone, after 4 my grandad passed away. She then spent a further 6 years in a care home with no quality of life & it felt like torture for my dad & uncle visiting her every week.

If her life ended a day after my grandads it would have been a blessing.

On a previous post on saving the environment I said the problem is there are to many people for this little planet. But nothing to do with euthanasia or how we reduce the numbers. So as you were . But on the subject I think we all should have a choice in the way we live, that's what we have fought for over the years.
