Free. Pity they split up when they did. Bad Company a poor successor but with Rodgers’ voice still well above average.

Saw both at wembley one or 2 weeks after the other T. With U2 one of the other weeks think it was 3 out of four following Saturdays. 1987.
All 3 for nowt. That's another Story (friends of one of the security.) As is gatecrashing Bowies private party via the Royal box on the concourse. after the gig. Proper pantsed it. Tell thi when I see thi if I already haven't.
    Mrs a big Bowie fan.
    Me a big U2 fan
    Genesis was a bonus tbh.
Had chance to see Michael Jackson at the same period. One of my biggest regrets in hindsight. One of mi mates saw him at Roundhay same tour. Raved about him.

Any band with John Coltrane or Kim Gordon in it. Or Robert Zimmerman... How ****** up is that? Could probably listen to Felt for a very long time too.

A band I feel I really should give a go. One of my favourite musicians is a massive Cardiacs fan, talks about them all the time yet I've never really listened to them

    Where should I start?

Funnily enough was only talking yesterday about how much I love Deftones yet strangely dropped off after self titled. Think my musical tastes changed a bit, missed over half of their releases and struggled to get in to them retrospectively. But those first 4 albums are incredible!

I'd probably choose Oceansize due to the variety/depth/length in their 4 albums

If I was to opt for a band with a bigger back catalogue, I'd probably say Biffy Clyro but then I'd find myself just listening to the first 3 albums on repeat anyway

I know what you mean, but I think my musical taste evolved along with the Deftones. Angry heavy music in my teens, nu metal as an identity when I was old enough to be in a “scene” and then more nuanced stuff as they matured.
Self titled is my least favourite of their albums, but Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan really made me come back around to giving their newer stuff a chance.

People keep saying I need to check out both of those albums; I reckon that'll be my weekend sorted!
