Watching England so far in the Euros has in many ways echoed many of our performances under Collins last season. If we were promoted people would remember that, however in my opinion we played some terrible football and were so lucky at the end of the season to hang on to a top 6 spot in a very very weak division.

I think the standard of league 1 next year has gone up a level with Birmingham, Hudds, Bolton, Posh, Charlton, Rotherham, Wrexham and hopefully Barnsley and probs a few more believing they can get top 6.

Having said that, we have had a voluntary clear out of personnel and the more I hear from the new head coach, the more I like him. I can see his personality and style being something that defo will inspire the team that takes to the pitch on match day 1 and onwards.

Let's hope that no nonsense likeable style proves to be fruitful in our performances. Starting to look forward to next season now and hoping as the Euros closes out we should see the flurry of transfer activity.

    U reds

There was a massive difference though. We were short of options & had no wingers which made it hard to change system.

Southgate can pick any player in the country bar Ben White & is choosing to play like this.
