Rumours swirling of a 3/5/2 formation change.

It would keep everyone happy and save face for Southgate should we lose. He wouldn't have to make any awkward decisions either.

    For example.

    Pickford,

    Walker, Stones, Konsa,

Saka/Palmer, Rice, Bellingham, Mainoo, Gordon, /Eze.

    Toney, Kane/ Foden.

Gives him excuse to drop Foden and bring back Shaw if fit. Also it gives him an out for Kane. You could sub him for Foden. Ifs and ands but it smacks of self preservation to me.

Why not? Something needed to change. Interesting to see who will play on the left, I assume TAA will be on the right.

Something needs to change or we will be out. Swiss are far better than Slovakia who were seconds away from beating us.

England should have enough about them to beat the Swiss, but in their favour, the Switzerland flag is a big plus.

I’d imagine, if it is true, the team will more likely be:

    Pickford
    Walker Stones Konsa
    TAA Mainoo Rice Bellingham Saka
    Foden
    Kane
