Agree. Red home kit, black away kit (a nod to our mining heritage)... Job done. Tweak the designs slightly each year (ideally every other year), that's it.

I like the Toby badge but can understand it's not everyone's cup of tea

I was going to say we’ve not used our iconic badge since 1986, then thought I’d check my facts.

We actually used the Oakwell badge for only 5 seasons!
The town coat of arms is the most used at 21 seasons
Closely followed by the white rose at 15 Seasons!
The other years are just plain shirt or the letters BFC (4 seasons)

My first year watching the Reds was 1980 which was the first year of the Oakwell badge, so that sticks out in my memory.

I hope they don’t have the Toby badge, it’s very childish.

That reads to me that JAQ is currently in NYC (with Toby Tyke by the looks), but the new kit launch shoot will be in Barnsley on Monday (unless she's wanting reds fans to fly out to New York).

The 96-97 prem promotion kit had Toby Tyke image repeated through the fabric.

Still my fav ever kit that one, not just because it was for that historic promotion season, just a really nice shirt to wear.

The promotion kit had the rose badge in the fabric.

Reckon this one is going to have some sort of Oak print running through it judging by the training gear.

Towns coat of arms - terrible, dated, 2 blokes in flares.
Oakwell badge - l was a mascot with this on but it should be left there, in the 80s
Toby badge - again dated, it's a cartoon sketch.

What l would like is an up to date Toby's head done in a Wolves like design or similar to the Juve badge but with a "B". You've to think of the marketing for baseball caps, clothing etc - NFL have simple designs for a reason and them alongside the NBA are the most marketable badges in the world.

Reads to me like she’s saying if you’re local(ish)to NYC to contact her if you want to be included.
Can’t imagine for a minute she’s asking potentially thousands of fans to DM her.

Not sure if true but apparently there’s hints of pink on the home kit

It says Barnsley fans. Can't see there being many of those in NYC.
