Good job it's not Prime Minister or Chancellor - she could get very confused as to her primary residence
I wonder if he will find a position for Jess Phillips. She had a tough night with the dreadful uncalled for response she got from those in attendance.
The fact he’s employing ministers and secretaries of state with a mixture of personalities including some he’s clashed with in the past and from the left and right sides of the party suggests to me he’s being genuine when he’s putting country first and here to serve. He isn’t exclusively filling the cabinet with his cronies and closest allies. It can’t be any kind of negative. I too would like to see some kind of role for Jess Philips.

James Timpson is a big backer of the British Horological Institute (of which I'm a member). More importantly, he runs training programmes in prison and helps people become franchisees of Timpsons through that route. I totally believe in punishing people if they have done wrong but not chucking them on the scrap heap for ever. There has to be redemption (with some obvious exemptions) and it is in societies interest that this should happen. A guy who knows what he's on about. He's also made the scientist who got us through covid the science minister. Rachel Reeves is also a respected economist and has to be a more competent than the f*ckwit that was jeremy hunt. I'm not keen on David Lammy, he's got some daft/dangerous ideas but that's the only one really, rest look like an upgrade from the last lot
I love Timpsons. The one in Barnsley is really good. He replaced my watch mechanism for £25. I bought the lifetime battery guarantee for £12 back in 2011 and have more than got my moneys worth as my watch is still going strong!
