I'm not sure what's mad about her in particular. 90% of the world population react to anything unexpected by pulling their phone out and filming these days. Everyone wants those likes/reshares.

When you see more of it, there's nothing amiss at all, she's simply talking to someone at the side of her.

My bet is Trump makes his next speech in a ‘mummy’ style full bandage, after limping onto the stage. :)

Trump has caused hundreds of people to die as a direct result of his policies. I wouldn’t give a single shiny **** if he got taken out, the world is better without him in it, other than the fact that he would be replaced by someone just as evil but maybe his replacement would actually be competent.

The world is better off with the incompetent fascist

I would, regardless of who and what policies they have wanting politicians to be killed because you believe the world would be better off is the thin end of a very awful wedge.

Trump is a massive divvy. But i have a few issues with this post:

    1) There's a creeping propensity for the liberal left becoming more and more aggressive and encouraging of violence towards the opposition. See some of the unhealthy anger directed towards supporters of Reform UK on election night

    2) Trump, the Republicans in general and Reform Uk, are right wing populists. They aren't fascists, and it does no-one any favours at all to pretend that theh are. Trying to shift the Overton window 900 miles to the left is just silly - and it leaves you witb no words to describe the actual far-right or fascists, such as the KKK, BNP, Combat 18 and National Rally. Fascists are authoritarian, right wing populists such as Trump are libertarians. Massive, massive difference.

The right make ground when you pretend people who are right wingers are extremists.

When you were talking about Massive at the end, thought you were going to mention the S6 mob.

I see a lot of Trump supporters are turning up to his rally speech in bandages on the ear. How many on here had bandages on the wrist in the Ponty end in support of Gerry Taggart

I see Biden has covid for the third time in two years.

That's the only bit of positive news he's had in ages.

It seems quite convenient that just at the time when he looked so frail, issues with memory and being able to answer questions without a teleprompter, that it's suddenly said oh he has covid so obviously not on form, we'll pull him from a speech etc.
One for the conspiracy files, just getting some more foil out.

Although I don't dispute the central points of your post it's important to append the fact that both examples above are very deliberately absorbing the votes of the far right and therefore refuse to directly condemn them or their views.

For example Farage's comment about Rishi Sunak not understanding our culture was no accident. Even when he tried to justify it as just a reference to Sunak leaving the WW2 memorial it was all very "I'm not racist." * nudge nudge * *wink wink*.

It's hard not to bundle them in with the racists and extremists when they actively solicit those votes to further their own cause.
