Could be worse for us. We could be Huddersfield Town who have gone down our route of signing a couple of former players back and got their new third kit modelled at the same time.

 

His team just got relegated before coming to us. So I would say it’s quite a big risk.

 

Trouble is a transitional period it should only lasts for a short period of time, but under this current ownership it seems to be taking forever

 

Nothing against him at this stage, but all he's done is talk & Neill Collins was better on that front. Collins gave great & honest interviews up front, with most of what he predicted about the battle ahead coming true.

It’s difficult signing players???why the **** is it only us that’s finding it difficult signing them it’s a load of toss it’s because we won’t part with the cash either on wages or fees anybody that believes owt else is deluded.

Nobody does think anyone else. You've just highlighted yourself the exact reasons why we and most other clubs struggle to get players.
Granted we don't spend money we don't have. Maybe Birmingham would be a better club for you. One that should be at least in the Championship but through years of financial mismanagement and FFP punishments find themselves in a league their fans think is massively beneath them.

 

That's what irks me a little. Other clubs **** about with their away kits which have no meaning to the fans, ours tries changing the identity of the club by ******* about with the home kit

 

That's not '"dammed if they do and dammed if they don't" it's simply poor recruitment practice.. We sign too many none league hopefulls and other clubs cast offs at the same time
..the under 21s should be simply a preparation ground for the first team.. and it's not. So ether our coaching at the club is poor, our the players we recruit are just not up too it.. Our club wastes a lot of its money..

Well it is.

Fans are unhappy we can't get deals done for good players proven at this level and then moan when we go for cheaper unproven options.

Who do you want us to sign? Proven L1 players are being linked to and signed by other clubs in L1 and championship, fact is we will miss out on some, that's life.
