Right decision but I think too much has happened and Harris hasn't got enough time to make thr ground up.
That's the thing though; at least responsible people were making decisions. If the Republicans get in then it is one man only, and he's a despot
Yes, & what the mess he was left with he has done a superb job, now America wake up & see what Trump is, a sexist , rapist, racist, sack of 5h1t & l hope he will be sent packing by the voters. Sorry, forgot to mention a convicted Felon. Edit: And serial liar along with the rest of his MAGA ill educated nut jobs.
It'll be Kamala Harris, she was 4/7 favourite a few days ago to be leading them in the election ahead of Biden.
In normal circumstances, I’d say this is a positive. The Democratic Party isn’t about one man and I can’t see anyone seeing this as a reason to vote for Trump for undecideds. ….,,,,,but this is America, and they are foooking bonkers.
There's no need to be silly about it. There's no way he's been the one calling the shots for the last three and a half years. The guy cannot function. It seems fairly obvious that there's been, let's call it, a guiding hand from those around him, otherwise the Country would've been a total ruin by now. Not everything someone says that you don't particularly like needs to be ridiculed with nonsense.
Isn’t that the case with all politicians though? Lobby groups and advisors and confidantes running the country through a figurehead? The only time it’s not true is when you have a tyrannical despot.
Of course. But with anything else, there's levels to it. There'll be influence and pressure placed on any sitting President. But Biden will have been particularly sucebtible to that influence owing to his obvious lack of cognitive capability. You only need to look at any interview he's given. When asked the most simple of softball question he stammers, mutters, goes quiet, looks confused, rambles about stuff that had nothing to do with the question asked etc. imagine that guy sitting for hours on end discussing the intricacies of the Ukrainian war, or the Middle East. There's just no way whatsoever that he made decisions.
He's quit because of me. I wrote an email to the POTUS yesterday morning spelling out clearly and in detail why he should step down. Voila, he's just stepped down. I honestly did send an email....
It’s called ‘apparatus’. He doesn’t run the country alone. He has a fantastic team of people at all levels of government.
He's clearly in decline but that doesn't mean he's entirely incompetent at all times and some way short of saying that there's "no way whatsoever he made decisions." And the poster I replied to above has a history of posting absolute conspiracy nonsense. Anyway, I think it's the best for absolutely everybody (except Trump) that he's stepped down and the right decision.
It is as long as Democrats dont squabble about their nominee. If its protracted bickering it will do them no good.
