Spurs might see him as a future player for them and not want to sell at this time. So this is a step on his development towards their squad - and we get a promising young player.
Let’s be honest he ain’t gonna make the first team at spurs he’s better off leaving permanent to further his career, how old is he?
He's crap. Waste of space. Board should be ashamed...etc etc... (Just getting the negativity in first before he's hammered on here and before the lad has kicked a ball)
21. 2 Years left on his current deal at Spurs. They certainly will have a decision to make next summer regarding selling etc. As he'd be entering his final year. We may have a deal to sign in the summer, will hopefully find out when it is all announced.
Guaranteed starter with us, probably not with the championship clubs. Refreshing that a player actually wants to play before anything else
Its a positive if they turn out to be good, but are a considerable drag on a team if they aren't as good as whats there already. I vaguely recall we had someone on such a loan deal in the past but I can't recall who it was.
Pretty sure the loan for Kent meant he had to play a certain % of our games but he was fairly decent for the most part from what I remember anyway
That is a good point, we've had a few over the years that haven't actually improved the squad but there seemed to be some sort of playing clause. Was it the young man city kid, the next 'Kante'?
I think you're right on that, though I recall his form dropping off a bit after a very good start. That wasn't who I was thinking of though.
I think it might have been, though I don't think he started a very high proportion of games. Gomes wasn't it? Wonder where he ended up or if he's still in the hundreds of Man City reserves?
