3-3 against a young reds team in a friendly yesterday.

Flavell, Kozluk, Pickard, James, Hickingbottom, McCann, Brown, Nejman, Dyer, Chapman, Nzondo.
We led 1 nil, then had to come back from 3-1 down, levelling with a 90th min penalty.
I know Brown got the first of our goals but no idea on the others.

Why is there not even a news article on our site or academy twitter (X) ?

Come on Barnsley why are our official channels always the last to report stuff, sort it out.

Genuinely think we don’t have the resources to cope in this day and age, we still haven’t announced Oli Shaw leaving.

I thought the whole idea of having, John Flatman as CEO, Mladen as Director of Football then Anne Hough overseeing the day job was so we had a better structure so we weren't operating in the 1980's

Despite promises to the contrary, comms are appalling at the moment.

Dyer , Flavell , Kozluk and Heckingbottom ( nearly ) are pretty famous surnames in this neck of the woods

Whitey wasn't the only one to leave the wider media team on Friday.

Hickingbottom, and Dyer (penalty) were the other scorers.

Serious problems in the media department by the sounds of it. Not the only department that has suffered/suffering under this ownership.

Those above have alot of questions hanging over their heads. They've been given more than enough slack and have used Conway and Chien as scapegoats for long enough.

    Step up or leave, simple.

Barnsley fans were scattered all over the ground. That photo isn't a true reflection. Gainsborough is a decent ground, good supporters club bar and friendly people

I'm fairness it's difficult for people to go to a game they don't even know is happening - I had no idea until this thread was made

There were a few supporters there , two of us about midway standing.
A good game, would have been better if I could have recognised the lads, even a printed sheet to hand out. I picked out Josiah, but that was it.
Who was wearing the No. 6 shirt, he was taken off within second half, what a lad for the future, he really shone within a good team of youngsters.

How far on is Dyer with his development mate? Do you think we will see him around the first team this s season? I’ve never seen him play, so know nowt of his style or attributes.

Personally, I don't think we will see young Dyer around the first team. I hope that I am wrong, but I can't see it.
James possibly, alongside an experienced centre half
