    Some stuff going around on X that we are interested.

    Kinda fits in with what Mladen and Clarke said about being in for players that bigger clubs won't release yet as they are on tour etc.

    Ladapo was away with Ipswich on there tour in Austria

    Not one I'd be pursuing personally. Always got the impression he was a bit of a bad egg in the dressing room, and didn't pull up many trees when at Charlton last season. Not known for his work rate either, so I wouldn't have thought he'd have been on Clarke's radar.

    Not sure what kinda statement? Rumours he's not great for the dressing room, another who has a higher opinion of himself than he warrants. No doubt on big money, aged 31, no resale value, done nowt at Ipswich or Charlton since he was OK at Rotherham.

    Proven goalscorer at league one level he just didn’t play much for charlton last year and where’s the bad egg thing came from

    Wouldn't have been my first choice but he's a proven scorer at this level (Charlton loan aside) multiple promotions from this level and Ipswich fans seem to like him. Was very popular amongst Rotherham fans too if I remember rightly.

    Certainly better than what we have now in my opinion

    Hope not. We've enough in their 30s now and shouldn't be signing someone who's done little in the past few seasons.

    He’s a bit Cole esque with regards to work rate but can’t knock his record. If he’s free I’d say he’s worth a punt.

    It's only last season he was crap but as others have said he barely got a game as they had May.

    Season before that he made a lot of appearances when Ipswich got promoted from L1

    Not sure where this bad apple and bad personality thing has come from with him.

    I don't obviously don't know him personally, but he played plenty of games under Warne and then McKenna.

    If he was such a lazy bad personality he would not have got games for Warne and certainly not for McKenna

    I’d take him in a heartbeat. The great Barnsley sides had a player who could score a worldie out of absolutely nothing. Think Glavin, Redfearn, Hammill etc.

    Now if we did sign him he’d have to go some to be thought of in the same bracket. But he has ridiculous stuff in his locker.
