    how **** is our pre season from a fans point of view? Went to Accrington and can’t complain about that but the game tomorrow and the really attractive game next Wednesday is bugging me.

    Numerous sides in our league have been in Portugal and Spain. I appreciate Millwall and Sunderland are bigger and better clubs than us, but I’m seeing their fans have a great time in Benidorm and Murcia and it’s making me jealous. Cambridge, Bristol Rovers, Huddersfield and Bromley have all been playing in Portugal and Austria and even Chorley went across to Alicante.

    Apologise for the moaning as I’m sure the club have a plan hence the Loughborough training camp but feel like we haven’t even been considered, which I feel we should have been.

    Last time we had a decent pre season for the fans perspective was the Germany one when stendel was here.

    Not sure about Millwall being a bigger club than us, and certainly not better than anyone, they’re just slaaaaaaaags.

    What would be the benefit of the players training in 35-40 deg C heat? It’s warm enough here - we don’t want half the squad going down with heat stroke

    History, attendance, achievement wise I don’t think they’re any bigger than us. They’re just another club prepared and able to lose money to be in the championship, where we’ve spent biggest chunk of our time.

    Why do you think athletes/sports people go off to do training in hotter climates? It's beneficial to gaining fitness.

    Yes but the heat in southern Europe is exceptional this year - much worse than normal levels.

    Not just southern Europe. Been in St Petersburg for the last week, been 28+ most days. Spent 6 hours queuing in it waiting to cross the border back into Estonia yesterday. Brutal.

    So we can boo them off overseas as well as at home...
    Don't mind the club treating the players after a promotion.. when a holiday 'on the house' is justified, but a preseason jolly na. Preseason is about graft and getting fit for a 8 month slog.
