    Open day used to be pretty good back when the players trained on the pitch & Dearne FM had a stage at the back of the east stand interviewing players at intervals, along with all the stall’s & inflatables, the new kit launch & stadium tour.

    In recent years it’s been a shambles, & just sums up the poor relationship the club has with the supporters.

    It's a shame it's cancelled. I've been a few times in the past and it was always a good day. We seem to have thrown the towel on the event in recent years though for some reason.

    I suppose the only saving grace is that by cancelling it we won't have sold out of food and drink by half time.
