I’m getting really peed off. Especially as night games are fricking freezing. The first thing I do when the fixtures come out is check the number of evening home games in winter.

Sky will not give two hoots.

As I mention above, they cater for the fans who pay a Sky subscription and who probably have no intention of visiting a stadium. Advertising boards will get even higher or even two / three tiers of them, because revenue from digital media will far outweigh what any actual fans contribute. Big clubs will get richer and richer whilst us and our ilk will have to try keep an ever-dwindling hardcore happy whilst knowing deep down that real fans won't really make a difference. The three games or so might make up the financial shortfall but will contribute kfuc all to the atmosphere and legacy. We get promoted and that might rise to six games yet the gross gap in finances will continue to widen.

The game (as we've known it) is gone. All we support these days is a badge and a commercial venture.

Game has gone. I wonder how much more money we’ve actually got from this, and whether it’s ultimately worth wrecking fans’ enjoyment? Not that there was an option to opt out.

I go to them all unless I'm on holiday but I’ve got to say I really don’t enjoy night games like I do 3pm on a Saturday.

For me it’s the pint before the match & a catch up with mates as much as the football & the same afterwards.

Rushing round like a madman after work & sorting family out for a 7.45pm or 8pm kick off with a poorer atmosphere due to less fans in the ground & then getting straight home to bed afterwards doesn’t really appeal to me.

I can see more fans giving up their season tickets if this is the future of watching Barnsley.

I have George one in two and Saturday games are a bit of a lifeline for him being a proper red. No Saturday game, no George. Just hoping there's a few Saturday games.

I am absolutely certain that this will cause quite a few clubs to fold. Ticket sales will go through the floor, merchandise sales will too, give it a year or two and small clubs won't be getting any new fans at all. Can show it on TV as much as you want but unless they're banning the premier league on TV it doesn't matter. Nobody is going to watch oversaturated **** league 1 football on TV when there are dozens of premier league games to watch instead.

Massive own goal from idiotic club owners who don't live in the real world

Our home game moved announced a few hours ago by the away team, but we still havent communicated it to our own fans when we should have known first. The communication is pathetic once more.

As for the match the new Sky deal is going to ruin atmospheres and season ticket sales going forward. It's spoiling one of our most enjoyable fixtures and I know the same will happen to our Huddersfield games.

I’m 49 miles from Oakwell and midweek games are a real strain for me especially if the weather’s not too good. I have the attitude that sometimes it’s not worth risking it just for a game of football.

This will be my 62nd season and I hate to admit that the pull isn’t as strong as it used to be.

What a joke of a club to not even communicate the changes yet, looking like we just can’t hack it at being a professional club.

Pulling one off is probably more fun on a cold Tuesday night too.

You know you can still see George on a Saturday when we don't have a game.

He's saying that the CLUB doesn't get George as a fan of he can't go to games because they're all midweek

Was told about 2-3m+ more in league one. More in the Championship. Promotion is worth about 10m a season now I think

Gonna be honest I missed that point too and immediately thought he could just find something else to do with George. I guess it's because my son is older and already a fan.
