    As our last friendly tomorrow I would expect the Derby team to be as close to the Mansfield one as possible to give them a game to get ready.

    So at Guiseley I would expect a number of fringe players we will be looking to sell or loan like McCarthy, Shepherd, Lopata and Marsh.

    Surprised James on bench. I really liked the look of him during his time with the first team, granted he had limited minutes but looked very good.

    Because we've clearly not invested in the squad in terms of transfers. If we just said we are bedding the youth I think a lot more would be accepted.

    Just own the fact we are bedding the youth and that's the way forward. I'd genuinely love us to say Vimal, Chapman, Bland, Pickard, Nzondo, Marsh and Jalo are first teamers.

    Just say that's the case, not "Oh we can't afford, oh they're being horrible to us in the transfer window". If we're letting the youth have a go then fine. That should just be made clear our ambitions are naff all
