These riots are getting scary, and I’m concerned as to where or when this will end. I’m in total agreement that mass immigration needs to stop, and these boats need to stop and FAST.

I’ve seen first hand the issues a lot of these men in the hotel down Manvers have created, it’s a scary place now. Just go down to Wath lake and see for yourselves.

HOWEVER….

Rioting is not the answer. Protesting outside the holiday inn is not the answer. Attacking the police is not the answer.

What good comes of smashing the hotel up? The men inside are not to blame, I don’t blame them for wanting a better life. The people who need to be held responsible are sat in Goverment buildings and town halls. Go and protest there, but do it peacefully, without the abuse and racial slurs.

There’s so much fake news from both the left and the right, which most people can see straight through. Unfortunately the nations full of absolute imbeciles on both sides.

This is not the answer.

 

Good post with a lot of very fair points. However, and admittedly I'm biased, the majority of imbeciles and fake news are overwhelmingly on the side of the the far right.

Im straight down the middle with it mate, I support the stopping of the boats but I do not stand with violence and racism. I’ve seen a lot of misinformation on both sides, I don’t think it’s more on either side… I just think there’s a lot more people who share the views of what the right are arguing which amplifies the noise.

Sorry but as well written as this is it completely misses the point.

Noone is saying we don't need to better manage immigration, illegal immigration and asylum seeking. However the only 'fake news' being pushed in. The current environment is not from any of the established media on either the left or right. It's coming entirely from alt right and far right twitter circles and it is being done to deliberately incite the kind of violence we are seeing.

And let's not forget it came on the back of a British born citizen from a quiet cul de sac committing a horrendous act. It's political opportunism from the worst on the right and a wholly inapporopriate time to try and force a debate on a subject, that literally noone has come close to having an answer to.

Even you making your points regarding it borders on disrespect to those girls and their families.

 

Can you explain why my post is disrespectful to those poor families? Because if it is, and I’ve read it multiple times, I’ll edit it. As I’m struggling to find what I have said that is disrespectful to them.

Other than that, I actually completely agree with your post.

It's not the time to give validity to grievances of those trashing the country in response to an event unrelated.

However I said borders.. as in it's just frustrating that these louts and Yaxley brought us to this. I'm not tarnishing you with that brush. Apologies if it sounded that way.

 

I don't really see the far left involved here though. It's the far right vs every decent person in society. The far right are still a bunch of fringe lunatics. They're a small minority, but they just shout very loud on Twitter and make themselves very visible. However, I'm pretty sure the vast majority of Brits see them for the vile scum that they are.

 

I disagree with your analogy of what I wrote but you have a much right to your opinion as I do.

Just to be clear to anyone who has read my post in the manner that you have, I do not support the riots, violence or racism. Nothing good will come of that kind of behaviour.

No mate I don’t think it will, because then it will be something else. The poles, Indians or whatever. Or at least I’d imagine so.

Trust me when I say this, I dislike them as much as others do. All i said was I understand the boats and mass immigration needs to stop. I don’t support anything they are currently doing.

 

I understand that you might feel that way about immigration.
My only observation would be that you’ve linked “immigration must stop” in the same post about the riots as though if suddenly we had a magic wand to stop them, the far right would stop being racist and behaving like horrific thugs.

 

That was not my point mate, and as I’ve said previously that is not my stance.
