Currently scrolling through Facebook seeing people I thought were relatively decent human beings sharing pro EDL, anti-immigrant, racist nonsense.

So if you have feelings about this issue, please answer this poll and I’ll know how to interact with you in future.

I can't answer that. It says "still". I would NEVER have attended such a protest.

Don't think you need the word 'still'.
That infers there was a time you would have attended

I am giving those who may have considered the idea in theory the chance to have been educated.

Anybody who claims that they didn't get the implication behind these 'peaceful protests' is either a liar or thick.

This has been a big revelation for me. Then again, I said the same about Brexit, then Trump, then Reform. It's less the people who I know are openly right-wing, as that's always fairly predictable among the people I know. It's those that have come out of the blue. Seemingly tolerant, liberal people, showing their true colours. Every one of them comfortably middle-class.

I wouldn't get involved in the protests however I realise that indigenous folk of any colour are fed up of illegal immigrants. We are a small island and these people see this country as the land of milk and honey.I certainly don't condone mindless violence, thuggery and looting.
We can't keep expanding this population because services are crumbling before our very eyes.Funny isn't it that now they are considering the army and martial law but both the conservatives and Labour wouldn't put the royal navy in the English channel to push them back. It's too much of a political potato that none of them wanted to confront properly and now it's bitten them on the arse.
I am 56 years old and was proud to be British, now I'm sad to say we are a laughing stock.

Could you add a "never have or will" option.

There's been a few notable posters absent today.

Have they been wearing masks running round Manvers?

At election time, there was a post on here enquiring how we'd voted. It was a slow burn, but once a few popped their head above the parapet, scores owned up to voting reform.
I'd put money on more than 1 or 2 who post on here being present at this riot today. They got the courage of their convictions to explain why?

I would never attend such an event. However, everyone has the right to protest peacefully whilst remaining within the law of the land.

Some of those protesting need to put themselves into another man's shoes for a few minutes.
