I'm so depressed and angry about these protests. Previously I thought Reform voters could be engaged with, but the apologists for the riots show they can't.

The issue is Reform voters are failures, they are idiots. They are the ones who left school early and weren't very good at it in the first place, they live shìt lives in deprived areas and have no hope, so vote for a party which blames someone else for their failures and speaks to them in simplistic language which they understand. I have some sympathy in that complete government failure has left behind large swathes of this country, has failed to educate and has offered neither hope nor aspiration.

These rioters are already lost souls, failed human beings. The best we can do for them is lock them up, reform the prison system, try to rehabilitate them and hopefully get them a job in Timpson's.

We can however fix the future and create better people. We need to re-vamp the education system, offer affordable third-level places and government grants so it's free or low cost for those from deprived areas. We need to decentralised, embrace home-working and invest in infrastructure and the people in our forgotten towns.

Every country has thugs and social issues, the problem in England is the volume of these individuals. Politics has been a creater of social deprivation and must do better to create a country we can all be proud of.

Which sadly I have to say is right on the money. The overwhelming majority are lost for a lifetime.

 

Interesting point raised on legal Twitter. One of those with better knowledge on this than me seems to think the terrorism act could apply, simply based on social media activity.

 

Wonder if Farage will do the honourable thing and resign. Because no matter what he says about the fekkwits, (as he claims not to be a racist and condemns those who are) He and his cronies whip up this hatred. Trump anyone. ?.

I’ve just watched an interesting video in which Will Self calls Trump and Farage ‘Grubby opportunists’, and I think he says it before Brexit.

How true that’s turned out to be. Just look at the people they appeal to, their target audience if you like.

I hope America has had enough of Trump, and is going to press the ejector button come November.

How we do the same with Tommy and Farage? Neither is a prominent politician, but the influence they have on the bottom feeders can’t be underestimated. How do we turn this round?
