Aww no what a shame, but hey, let's be patient ehh and give him a few weeks. And I hope he will be back to full fitness and health again soon, and belting it all out again.
Enjoyed that mini concert guys! I'm just reading Greeting from Bury Park which features Springsteen and his songs
Can't have helped the weather at Sunderland, his voice was going slightly at times, we were there from 1pm queing, so by the time we got out at 11 ish we had had 10 hours of non stop rain, still third back from the front it was well wrth it, great version of Racing and also probably the best klive version of the River I have seen, hopefully he is fit for Wembley in July......
Wow (and I've only just noticed it), that does look like Woodie Allen doesn't it. And hey, no disrespect is meant there to Bruce. How is he now by the way, I hope those health problems he had then, are gone now. And I really look forward to seeing him belting out 'Dancing in the dark' again soon, live!.
That picture originated on his Mrs instagram page, it was actually done as a joke because one of his lads pointed out the resemblance….health wise he’s fine, went to see him at Wembley t’other saturday, still puts on a brilliant 3 hour set, hard to believe at 74 he’s still bounding all over the stage,
My son-in-law wasn't a a big Springsteen fan. That is until he saw him at Wembley the Saturday last. He's not stopped about how seeing him live has changed everything. It was the best gig he's ever been to. I can't disagree. I saw him at Old Trafford a few years back. Until then I always rated 'The Pirates' with Mick Green the best live band I'd seen and that includes the Beatles in 1963. He's 74 and just as good (marginally better than he was at 44.
I went to see him in Dublin in May my mrs who was more into Take That came with me, she absolutely loved it…walking out of Croake park first thing she said was “can we get tickets for Wembley?” Now she’s talking about going to see him Prague
Hoping for Prague also next year, strong rumours at the moment that he might open the new Everton Stadium, fingers crossed...
