    Just found out today ,my best buddy from Charter School passed away yesterday.
    Many on here will know him from the time spent playing the drums with Danse Society.
    My mate Paul Gilmartin (63) known as Gigi used to light up any room up with his big smile.
    Fond memories of my time spent together .
    My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
    RIP Gigi love you mate x

    Didn’t know him personally but live just up the road from him. Saw the ambulances outside his home yesterday. RIP. Isn’t his daughter Georgi (sp) on the local music scene, a solo singer/ guitarist?

    Deepest Condolences to Paul's family.
    There is an amazing story, that I hope will one day be told. About, The Danse Society, 5 Barnsley lads. Who came so close to fulfilling their dream of being Rock Stars.

    I had two choices settle down and have a family ,or go with Gigi and the lads on tour.
    I chose the safe option,and have 3 top lads for going down that route.
    But oh just to spend one more night with the lads and Paul ,lovely memories.
