Takes a gaffer with balls to show himself up for getting his team selection and tactics wrong so early in a game.

Clarke obviously doesn’t care about that. It wasn’t right. Change it.

No sentiment. There’s a game to win.

It may or may not work - but it’s looked better up to now. Fair play. Minutes 25-45 differed hugely from 0-25.

Been Babba. Watters is poor. Earl is terrible.

Watters was one of the better performers that half. But that doesn’t suit the “let’s pile on” social media narrative.

Imho for 35 mins we have been 2nd best.
Well played Mansfield totally better team for 80% of that half.
The disappointing bit is that our strong point (midfield) were over run.
I expect not that much from our front two and they have been poor. We get a very jammy goal and suddenly back in it...but really we have been poor.
Roberts looked pretty good but at leas the coach has changed it with the sub ......let's hope we can nick this but the signs are not good after 45 mins.

We’ve nothing up top whatsoever. We need bodies and fast, because that was painful viewing from a strikers point of view.

We’re gonna need a 25-goal midfield with this strikeforce. We just don’t have strikers capable of creating chances and hitting the target, with any type of regularity.

I just checked the main site for match information, i.e. the scorers and times, and not only is the info missing, but it also states 1-2 FT.

He had a decent half generally, but he's a striker and when the chances fell to him he fluffed them, he'll be judged on that.

Well, seen a few slagging Watters off, but what exactly does Cosgrove actually do?

I thought Watters looked much the better of the two. Low bar mind, but hardly worst player on the park.

That should get us a Cosgrove hattrick now.

Agree on extra midfielder we were getting over run.. but they definitely allowed us back in with the softist of soft goals.. Connell as to up his around game, still living off his first season

I'm going to be really interested in how we come out in the second half, given that Clarke's man management is supposed to be one of his strengths. If ever I saw a team that needed picking up...

Watters offered miles more than Cosgrove.

We really need that DKD, he looks an excellent little player.

Some truth in this, gets in behind makes all the right runs his touch is decent it's the most important bit finishing that he's missing from his game, I don't know if he's desperate and just snatching

True that. If I was going to rate the players tonight so far he wouldn’t be in the bottom six.
