That says to me that Styles is obviously getting sold because there's no logic in Clarke hanging him out to dry if there's a chance of him staying, could have easily said he's injured to buy a bit of time.

Totally unsurprising. He washed his hands of us two years ago. It’s a shame, because he truly isn’t the Championship-level player he thinks he is. It’s of no use to us though, rejecting bids and having him just run his contract down.

They're not mate hence why I think the club will structure a deal to get him gone. Perhaps it could be a smaller fee up front but with future add ons to hit the release clause subject to certain criteria being met. He doesn't want to be here and it's becoming a distraction once again so in my opinion he needs to go.
