Would anyone fancy a spin on the new Titanic in 2027? I personally think it's disrespectful to the dead on the original ship and it shouldn't be called Titanic. Also I'm superstitious and wouldn't (If I could afford it).

It's a typical publicity stunt from Australia's resident far right lunatic billionaire. He's a pretty terrible human being and a staunch anti vaxxer.

I suspect it was done specifically to be disrespectful. Same reason the first car he bought for his museum was Hitlers.

Lump on Barnsley FC to win FA Cup in 2027. The original Titanic's Maiden Voyage was in 1912. It's written in the stars :D:D

Never heard of Clive Palmer until this. Just done a bit of reading. Sounds like a Trump-level crank.

Did anyone ever see that Newspaper clip (There's more chance of Barnsley winning the F.A. Cup than the Titanic sinking) Think I last saw it in the Rising Sun on Sheffield road, sure I've seen it somewhere else.

Giving away the secret of my surname, but a distant relative of ours was on the Titanic (a stoker) and survived, but also survived the sinking of 3 other ships before dying in his bed at home in 1937.
He gained the nickname the Unsinkable Stoker and I am sure had stories to tell just like Uncle Albert on Only Fools and Horses.
