    Wants to build wind farms, with turbines "twice as tall as Big Ben" - according to the Daily Mail.

    Now I'm not an expert, but he won't get far with 4 metre tall wind turbines, will he?

    Wasn't there a piece in the news about how ineffective wind turbines were as a source of power based upon how much they cost to build?

    I'll trawl internet for a link after match but definitely read it somewhere. (Might have been this site). @Brush maybe one for you mate.

    A life-cycle analysis published in the scientific journal Renewable Energy in 2012 shows that, after only three to seven months, a wind turbine produces more energy than is required to manufacture it and set it up. According to the UN Intergovernmental Panel om Climate Change, onshore wind power is also the energy source with the lowest total emissions of greenhouse gases per kWh produced of electricity over its lifetime.
