Where are our usual commentators Matt and Callum?

And why is iFollow utter gash this year? Appreciate two members of staff left and that explains the lack of video content but the picture quality and commentary on Friday was dreadful. Tonight the game was unavailable to watch here in Germany, but the option to listen was completely pointless as the soulless fart they had doing commentary was only catering for those watching and so it was impossible to know what was happening.

I’m repeating myself from another thread, but the prices got hiked this season yet the service is much much worse.

Also, the Matches (Results) page on the main site has only the basic info.

No Attendance Figures.
No details of Assists (which is on the BBC site).
No details on Penalties tonight.

 

Presumably you had the same commentator as was on the Sky coverage. I assume the two are linked this season.

Kept rolling out facts like, "The Wigan full back once dated a girl from Pontypridd".

 

Get a call in to @Journo Tyke to get him back on club commentary.

I can’t even log on to iFollow. I haven’t made any changes to my account since last season but it just comes back with email/password don’t match. It doesn’t respond to a request for a password update email either. Just….doesn’t work. I contacted them. Got a reply asking for details. They are now ‘working on it’. Tinpot. It’s getting back to the days of Keith Borrit standing at the bottom of the players tunnel playing the Club record “Don’t cry for me Argentina”.

 

Have a look at the squad list...... must be using the Club laptop for the spreadsheets so cant update the website

 

There were some issues for the Mansfield match which the club are aware of, hopefully thing will be resolved soon.

 

I ended up switching it off. It was that bad I’m tempted to ask for a refund. Huge gaps with no speaking whatsoever to then hear a single player’s name and then silence again for another 10 seconds. Even during the penalty shootout (I switched it back on then thinking they’d have to speak then, surely) it wasn’t even obvious if it had gone in or not for some of them.

Thanks for the advice, Gally. In reverse order, yes I've tried re-registering using a new email address. That just dropped dead at the starting gate. I've checked my spam folder. Nothing. I've tried it all on Google, Chrome, Firefox and Avast browsers with the same result. (I've been having the same issue with the BBS. Firefox will let me in, no trouble.) I've yet to go incognito. I've a very long-time fan, from back in the early 1950s. I've only missed matches at Oakwell on very few occasions, and the older and more disabled I become, watching/listening online is more important to me.

 

I listened to the Mansfield game and couldn't agree more mate. A complete waste of money and a couple of hours of my life that I'll never get back.

 

Haha, I couldn't do every week these days but would love to do a one off as a guest commentator one week if one of the usual guys was away!

 

I believe the Squad List will get updated when the window closes and we have the individual and squad photos taken.
