There's only one reason why the racists don't like being challenged on here, and that's because deep down, in those few remaining brain cells, they know it is wrong.

If you feel strongly about something, come out with it and defend it. Simple as that.

 

Why does it have to be balanced? Why can't it just be representative of the town? It's not our fault if we don't all share the same views. If 80% of the BBS is left wing then maybe, just maybe, that is what the town is.

Done it, love, despite the opposition. I can't reply to all the hate. I'm one against many, but why should I have to defend myself. Does that mean that you are attacking?

 

I asked you to define far left as you accused the forum of being that. You responded by saying "define far right"

I mean I can give you the definition of what I see.

• Anyone who is completely against immigration and makes sweeping statements about it
• Anyone who insists on making racist statements or openly expressing racist opinions.
• Anyone who is anti equality and makes dismissive or nasty statements about people who are from different backgrounds or have made different life choices
• Anyone who follows recognised far right leaders or groups. Often this is deciphered, not because they admit it, but because whatever bigotry they are spouting was actually tweeted by one of the notorious far right leaders within the last 24 hours or so.

But it's worth noting there are plenty of perfectly respectful right wing people on here who it's possible to disagree with or have a civilised debate about many subjects with. Sometimes people can get fired up and get angry over subjects that matter to them but we find common ground with plenty.

Noone should think their opinion doesn't matter but you do need to be able to back it up with some level of factual basis.

So I went... Will you give your definition of far left now?

And what specifically are you angry about? What triggered this post?

I've never understood far left, centre or far right.
I.just believe that whatever colour, creed or religion, people are entirely allowed to voice their opinion.
If you don't want 'owt back that may offend, then don't comment.

 

Of course the forum is balanced. It reflects the views of those who post on it and broadly reflects the views of British society.
I presume by balanced you mean that it should equally reflect severe right wing views as much as left wing ones. The fact that it doesn't suggests that there are fewer of you than you like to think.

 

I take it you have no history of academia then if you don't understand what defending a viewpoint is? No, nothing to do with being attacked. However, if people post vile stuff on here then they will rightly be called out on it.

 

Well obviously they're not. If you look at that poll on here about how you're going to vote at the election , it bore no resemblance to how the town actually voted.

There were many a tool who even thought we'd end up Farage territory. And castigated the populus without bothering to wait for the result.

I'm sick of those fuckers on the far left, with their dangerous ideas of equality and treating all people with dignity regardless of race, sexuality, religion or social background.

If I was going to directly say I thought you were racist, I'd have quoted you - I didn't quote anyone.

And saying "I can't be racist because...." isn't a great way of saying you're not racist. It makes you sound like a massive racist

The original point was that no one is allowed to post an opposing view without being shot down, and you may agree that the point was proved. You're not as smart as you think.

That's completely wrong as well. It's always been the same on here . For me too. Why can't you explain, or try to, that you're not a racist by explaining your family or friend situation. WTF is wrong with that?

I have done that, not that I need to.
