Without shouting you down, Id rather hear your opinion. You quoted far left I'm not sure how many on here are far left. Most are socialists in the centre left category I would imagine. But it can run alongside capitalism. Many countries come under this banner. I'm all for nationalising ALL.public services for example.

The terms far-left and ultra-left are used for positions that are more radical, more strongly rejecting capitalism and mainstream representative democracy, instead advocating for a socialist society based on economic democracy and direct democracy, representing economic, political and social democracy.

Far right. And I dont believe for 1 minute all who post immigration control fit into this category. But the rioters do. I dont even know what you voted. If you in fact did, Btw.

Reform ? whether you like it or not. As the saying goes. Not all who voted reform are racists. But all racists voted reform. Would you be comfortable with that.
Other. ? Simple fact is, no other could govern at this moment in time.

So is the rioting about asylum seekers or standard of living? The two aren’t intrinsically linked. If it’s about standard of living why are they now rioting when we have a new government which is much more likely to try to address this issue than the previous government, and if it’s about asylum seekers why haven’t they been rioting for the last 5 years?

Bad actors on Social media have definitely linked the two- some people in this country some people from abroad, some people in the traditional media all involved.

Been told we’ve hijacked this posters thread, so out of respect perhaps we should discuss this in a separate thread or via message. absolutely agree that Murdoch’s media has excuse the right and it’s division politics for so long that any shift to normality is now deemed “far left”.

Aside from the forum being "far left" he hasn't actually expressed any opinions or presented any evidence to back that statement. He just keeps incessantly posting what it's not about.

 

To be fair he has made two points.

1) This board is far left. This is patently untrue, but the majority of posters who can articulate a position seem to be centre-left.

2) Anyone with a different opinion gets ganged up on. I think this thread is a pretty good example of this being true. The only issue I can see with Reform Disco's posts is not fully understanding that the far-left means anarchy and communism, yet he has been called racist and anti-immigrant.

Agree with much of what you say but as I said to him I haven't called him racist.

I do suspect however that he is unhappy that he can't post on here about evil Starmer and too many boats without being challenged though.

Is there any particular reason you have to post on here? It's not obligatory. The forum is made up of people whose views you don't like. There must be other football forums more to your taste. Probably on twitter or facebook. Go post on them rather than complain because the majority on here don't agree with you.

 

I did. Not far left but in terms of the general mix on here, as evidenced in terms of voting intentions.

There was a poll pre-election. On here.

No doubt someone with a sliver of intelligence can repost it.
