No million plus Faal for styles did tell u that we had their pants down with the deal we got basically got full value of what we wanted plus a striker to give us an extra option
Absolutely, great work from the club to offload an unhappy bunny who is shortly out of contract, for such a sum of money. Well done BFC
Really hope so ,but if it falls through, which it could, please please don't give Luca an hard time, like what happened recently. He is only posting what he is told. Fair play to you for taking the time to post these updates. Fingers crossed in this long drawn out saga, ,which isn't helping the club to move forward.
I’m told it’s done both players agreed terms only thint that could break it down is medical failure for e rither player
But what do we want Faal for though, apparently he's only a 21 year old lad, who regularly keeps getting sent out on loan. I don't know owt about him, but is he any better than Cosgrove or Watters or Marsh or Jalo etc ?. If the deal comes off, I bet we'll just loan him out again.
I'll believe that when I see it in the club accounts, what on earth have west brom seen to warrant a million of money they don't apparently have.
Scored 15 goals last season in two loan spells at League 2 clubs - Donny and Walsall. That was from 30 starts. No idea how good he is but those stats seem OK for a lad still only 21 finding his feet at 2 new clubs.
Probably £500k rising to £1million with promotion clauses & appearances etc. can’t imagine it being £1million up front. Still good business though, & hopefully this Faal guy is decent. But then again I’ll only believe it when it’s officially announced.
Ps - If any of Dallas, Shaw or Marsh had scored 15 goals when we loaned them out we'd all be desperate to get them in the team. As it is, they did nowt between them.
Faal seems to have a homing instinct for Walsall. He opted out of his Doncaster loan to join them and it is rumoured that they wanted him on loan again this season. If we sign him as part of the deal, would we immediately loan him to Walsall? Would it be a poor use of limited resources, or should the deal be that he must want to be with us and committed to us from the start? Seems to have an interesting agent working with him!
