Of the strikers we're currently linked with, Faal is the one I'm most optimistic about. He's had a few years playing men's football down the leagues, and got a good goal return from it, despite only being 21 himself now. From what I've read, he's tall, strong and good with his feet, in a similar mould to Morris or Moore. Given we seem to be working on set pieces a lot at the minute, he might be exactly what we need. On Saturday, we dropped much deeper when Watters went off for Marsh, with someone like Faal, the ball would have stuck better up top and takem the pressure off a bit.

We need someone like a Ladapo type player who is prolific in this league

Apparently he didn't pull up many trees last year at Charlton. Could've just been an environment thing, could be a good addition.

I can’t get over when he missed loads of chances at Oakwell years ago.

The problem with someone like Ladapo is, he'll be on decent wages at Ipswich and is at an age where he'll be looking for one last good pay day. I can see him rocking up at Wrexham to be honest, or Bristol Rovers. He's in the twilight of his career and will only be a short term fix to the problem at best.

I'd much rather we take a punt on someone like Faal, or the lad we've been linked with at Bradford, who have scored regularly more recently, and are at an age where they're more likely to improve. Ladapo's prolific seasons at this level are a few years ago now.

Sunderland fans seem to be taking it well that they never signed him.

Think we’re going to have to just drive him down there, leave an honesty box with him and hope for the best.

    Not surprising.

A lot of the ITK-ness is just copy-and-paste from Twitter/other forums where people are also pretending to be in-the-know. One of the regulars on here is registering on other fan forums and hoovering up any naff rumour that is being posted.

Luca has been correct plenty of times, and has explained on the few occasions when things haven't worked out for whatever reason.

I could have read these last few comments wrong, but it really does seem like some people take pleasure from pulling people down who offer inside information. I honestly think it stems from jealousy that they don't have anyone telling them anything.

@LucaBywater7 I personally appreciate the information you post for us. It's a shame a select few seem to get their kicks from giving you a kick.

Don't get this negativity towards Styles. "Young lad (not from Barnsley) wants to play at higher level shocker".
He maybe hasn't lived up to the hype of his first seasons, but I'm not surprised he wants away given the negativity towards him.

Deserves a bit better in my book, if for no other reason than that time he chased down the Forest lad attacking our our goal in injury time (when all the others had given up),
Tackled him then set up a last kick of the match goal for Schmitt, which meant we went into the last game of the season against Brentford needing a win to keep us up. (Which we did )
