The negativity has only come about due to his own poor attitude towards being a BFC player though. Brought it on himself I'm afraid.
No issues with having ambition. He just doesn’t have the ability to match it and never been interested in trying to knuckle down here and earn a proper move. That’s why.
There are many moving parts to transfers so it’s not that people don’t have some knowledge. When I knew someone even though they were relatively high up they only happened about 60% of the time. Luckily I now know no one and nothing!
I think the issue is when people claim something is definite, without being able to cite a source. Like the guy who came on and said ‘contract signed with Wilder’. Unless you’re absolutely sure your info is legit, you’re on dodgy ground really. Who knows, it may still prove to be true. But more often than not, these ITK claims are just a loada rubbish
Not read through all the post but, Good luck Callum & all the best, where ever you end up, you have talent.
Yes I’ve mentioned that Forest tackle a few times and there’s no doubt it was a match winner. I think it was McGoldrick clean through with none of our defenders in the same post code. Incredibly Callum sprinted after him, caught him before he reached our penalty area and executed a brilliant tackle to win the ball. Seconds later it was in the back of the net at the Ponty End and I was jumping up and down on my Spanish balcony letting everyone in the street know that Barnsley had just scored!
I think it would be best if our fans weren’t openly critical and hostile towards one of our own players. For me I’d still be happy to see Styles in our match day squad.
He’s spent 3 years trying to force a transfer. Constant stories being put in the press by agents linking him to other clubs to try & engineer interest & force a move. Of course most of us are fed up of him & won’t remember him fondly. If he had knuckled down & performed well for us like Anderson, Mowatt & Kitching did he might have got a move to the championship two seasons ago.
One of our own players ehh, who has shown appalling disrespect to us for 3 seasons now. Most players will do their best to knuckle down and try to earn a move to a higher division club, by playing well and making the effort and having the right attitude. He's done none of those things, and apparently he's not even made the effort with the two loan teams he's been at. And yet people keep defending him!.
Think club did right thing, could have shown more bury baggie on loan,or at world cup, didn't come off for us cos he's not as good as he thinks, personally good luck to him cos he's gonna need it,if I saw him I wouldn't say hello, and if he plays against us I'll boo him.
Can't see him leaving WBA only on loan, dont know what wage he'll be on,millwall,Sunderland weren't interested, think he'll leave WBA on a free after getting a bigger bank balance, only my opinion and I hope am right.
Cut nose off to spite face. Springs to mind. Surely any further income would be welcome. I'm not saying it could be massive as in J Stones. But income all the same.
