We then need to play him every game to see if he's actually good enough. If not, sell him. He's old enough for us to take the kid gloves off. I personally think he'll flourish but if we keep tiptoeing round him then we'll never find out
I agree, there's plenty of prodigious talent out there that gets their debuts and a run of games in leagues higher than ours at a younger age than Jalo. Get him used for me.
64 million dollar question where do we play a fit Jalo ? I don't see him as an out and out striker personally, I think he's great out wide cutting inside or skinning a full back which is more suited to a 442, just can't see where he fits into a 352 etc
I think there are plenty of formations he fits into. It would be easy to switch the 3-5-2 to a 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 to get Jalo in, although haven’t really seen him play in a McAtee type role which I think he might do well in. Either way, the solution is to get him on the pitch as much as possible without it being at a detriment to results
I also think he could play a similar role to that Davis Keillor-Dunn plays for Mansfield - in the hole between the midfield and forward(s). If we don't get DK-D that's where I'd try him. He's clearly talented and I think his development will accelerate if he gets a run in the team. We need to be patient though and not get on his back when he makes a mistake.
