Ah, there’s another couple of ‘reformed’ bands I saw, in the same afternoon and on the same stage - The Jacobites and The Bounty Hunters!

Bootleg Beatles are absolutely incredible. Am out of the country at the minute, otherwise I'd have been at the Leadmill show hands down.

People talking about only 2 albums being any good, without mentioning the fact that those 2 albums are up there with the best ever made. Whilst simultaneously not mentioning Masterplan which is one of the best tracks of a generation.

I liked all their albums. First two were the best but I thought Be Here Now was decent too.

Wonder which brother picked up the phone…. Loads of people saying not for them, and fair enough. But these concerts will sell out faster than any before end the tickets will be very expensive. I will be trying for tickets as will many on here. They could have sold out 10 times this many seats….

Are they doing a new album or playing their back catalogue?

They could also end up headlining Glastonbury

Yeah there's a gap in the calendar for Glastonbury weekend - but then the press release says these are the 'exclusive' UK dates.

    I'm genuinely excited.

    It’s not snobbery, it’s a generational thing.
If you were of a certain age in the 90s and that Oasis explosion was part of your growing up and you rode the crest of that wave, it’ll stay with you forever.
The equivalent for me would be The Clash, Joy Division, or The Fall reforming (impossible in all 3 cases of course). Bands and times that shaped my life.
To me, and I suspect many others of my generation, Oasis were a couple of nobheads who knocked out half a dozen half decent tunes.
    Enjoy the nostalgia!!!

Being a jazz buff I can't say I've ever heard an Oasis song .... ever.
(A bit like I've never seen Star Wars, which I haven't either)
What sort of pop music does it do? Are we talking Jackson 5, Rene and Renata, Tremeloes, Beach Boys ?
Don't slag me off for not being on the same bandwagon as you, I'm just not up to speed with modern beat tunes or combos any more.

The tunes are loud rehashes of old riffs nicked from much better songs.

The vocal sound is that of a moaning spoilt 14 year old.

    S'abart it.
