Must have been a rush this afternoon then. I looked at lunchtime and if I said it looked like we'd sold 4k I'd be overegging it.
I’ve just looked again to prove my point and there seems to be loads more availability than there was when I booked our tickets late-ish last night. Not sure how or why that’s the case but like the man in the orthopaedic shoe….. I stand corrected!!
Be Ticketmaster playing up. Tried booking our own seats last Thursday morning and they were sold as was about 80% of the Ponty. Bought two a row in front and when I went back on a few hours later the whole stand was nigh empty. In reality we might be the only ones on our row.
I got that, but then realised it's because I wasn't logged in. Once I logged in, I got a message saying that I had "reserved seats".
Are you comparing a top of the table promotion clash near the end of the season when we were on a spectacular run of form with an early season League Cup game that nobody seems to think matters to the point that reserves and kids are played?
I wouldn't worry too much. It doesn't matter whatever the club does or how successful they are on the pitch there are those who will moan or complain.
