I'd almost forgotten what a home victory felt like! Well done lads, you've done us proud tonight. The move which lead to our goal was possibly the best piece of football I've seen from us this season.
Well done reds. Some terrific performances from front to back. We do need to learn how to be more composed when defending a lead. The opposition are much less likely to score if they don’t have the football, so hoofing it to them or out of play isn’t the best tactic. delighted for Watters to score again in what was an outstanding team goal. MOTM : Mad Bazza (who is having an excellent season)
Not sure it was Yonganathan and Cotter being subbed that made a difference....they'd put 5 subs on in the previous few minutes.
Home win Clean Sheet I really liked the 4-3-1-2 with Philips advanced in the second half. That could be our way forward. Well done all.
Great effort all round. Under pressure a bit at times but really pleased for everyone. Cotter is Ace !!!
Great win. For 20 minutes in the second half Barry Cotter was almost unplayable. He was brilliant. Roberts at the back was immense too. And Watters ran his blood to… well… Water
Hamer’s introduction inevitably had an impact but we lost attacking impetus when Baz went off. He is our main attacking threat as he’s the only midfielder who drives at the opposition
Restored the faith a bit that. Desperately need 2 strikers still and at least one wing back. But we looked much more composed that second half and the 352 actually started to make sense.
Great 25 minutes at start of second half won us the game and obviously when you’re bringing the quality of Hamer etc onto the pitch you’re going to be hanging on a bit but we deserved that bit of luck
Thought ga ga had another good game too, made up for his error on Saturday, had the art of taking his time with the goal kicks down to a tee!
