Is he the only Barnsley player to have scored against Wednesday and United and if not is he the only player to have scored against Wednesday and United at the Ponty end?
Edit: Just remembered I think Oli McBurnie may have done this

Honestly we need to get behind him. He’s a great finisher but clearly a confidence laiker.

Don't remember him scoring against the Blunts but could be wrong.

Surely there's one or two more from almost 150 years worth of matches!? Incredible if not

There was a little known barely remembered Glaswegian who scored against both, not at the Ponty End but away at both. The one, the only, King Ronald Glavin.

Really pleased for Watters just what he needed on the goal trail from the start his confidence should be building let's get behind the lad.

Fjortoft, Shipperley, Dyer and Sheron all scored against both. As has Devante Cole.

Not sure what you mean. I was at literally every game against the Blunts in the 90's home and away, and I don't ever recall Redfearn scoring against them. Would be pleased to be corrected if I'm wrong.

He didn't score against Sheff Utd. In the promotion season to the Premier League John Hendrie scored in both games and Eaden scored that goal where he passed it into the back of the net and ran into the Ponty, which still makes the hairs on the back of my neck tingle. Brendan got a brace when we beat them in Wilson's first season in charge. The following season Steve Davies and Andy Payton scored in a 2-2. We failed to score in the reverse fixtures in those seasons. And that's it, Redfearn could have only played in those 6 fixtures, all under Wilson, 3 wins, 2 draws and a defeat, 7 goals.

Prior to that were the epic games in the league and Cup in 89-90 but that was before Redfearn arrived.

Those cup games in 89-90 were indeed epic. The atmosphere at Bramall Lane was something else. Game really should have been out of sight by half time.

As for the games under Wilson - there was one I missed actually, the only defeat. I think I do remember the goalscorer though - Brett Angel?

I don't know. I don't really remember opposition scorers. Although I do remember Nathan Blake getting a couple and I'm sure both Brian Deane and Tony Agana got goals against us in 89-90.

I'm sure @JLWBigLil will be able to confirm, along with a load more interesting factoids about the games. I certainly remember it was Ian Banks who missed at absolute sitter at their place just before half time to make it 3-1 and probably safe.

Think the 2-2 draw was when Fleming had his career ending injury... As Blake ran through to score and showed no concern for him laying in a crumpled heap. Horrible player Blake. Kelly also made an unbelievable save from a close range header from Payton i think (could've been Liddell).

I don't recall Deane scoring against us (but surely he must have), I think Agana got the winner in the final game of that cup marathon... Which seemed to go on forever because of heavy snow that year.
