I don't disagree with you but we do have Jalo to comeback and I am expecting good things from him this season and would like him to get a good run in the side. 3 goals in 3 games from Cosgrove / Watters. Marsh played well tonight.

I’ve said that we should only judge him after he’s had a run in the team. I hope last night showed what he has to do to become a regular player and he kicks on from it. We’ll have to see what happens…

I think its great to see young players get a chance from the academy / wider squad setup. You never know their gaps unless they get a chance to play a step up. The lack of attacking players has given this opportunity. Marsh has given the effort but seems to be not ready for regular first team football right now. We have discarded many players over the years as not good enough, some who have gone onto a great professional career. However i think he doesn’t look physically strong enough. At this point and doesn’t quite compensate with guile and overall contribution. As a league one team, we need new quality players in but i dont see this as an immediate discard of Marsh. Maybe loan to L2 will give him the run he needs - if he can cut it there.

Marsh has never been the problem.

You need back up players for the cup games & the U23’s.

We can’t carry a squad of 30+ players on first team wages.

The problem is we haven’t signed two forwards to replace Cole & Mcatee.

Once we do & Marsh is back to been 5th / 6th choice then there’s no issue.

He did work hard and that is generally his game to be fair to him. Still not sure on the ball he is good enough but would love to be wrong.
