Is he Sam Cosgrove's estranged Swedish twin brother? They look remarkably alike. I like the look of him. I know that youtube clips even made Kayode Odejayi look world class, but this guy's style of play would complement what we already have and, boy, can he finish. Get him in. We should still have £700k floating around for AN Other as well. Make it Joe Taylor and we have a very potent forward line. I do so hope that the club are able to pull this off. I, for one, appreciate how hard they have been trying to get forwards who will strengthen the squad, rather than just any player. This is the right move, but it is frustrating. Keep at it chaps in the boardroom. I for one am right behind what you are trying to do.
I've asked a Dutch friend about him. His reply - "he is pretty strong but not great technically. Probably not bad (signing), but don't expect great things"
He’ll do for me. I have nothing against loan signings, especially full season ones, although there’s always the chance that we lose them early like Danny Drinkwater. We’ve had some cracking top division players over the years. It was a real privilege having Jan Molby in our team even though it wasn’t for long. Similarly David Johnson and Alan Ainscow. Top players we couldn’t afford to buy so they were just to be enjoyed while it lasted. No problem with that and I shall enjoy watching this lad, if he comes.
Didn’t Adam Hamill initially come on loan from Liverpool, also the Brazilian guy midfielder from Everton, forgot his name now
Looks decent from the showreel but anyone can. But even from that looks to have an eye for goal and looked strong so not gonna get swatted off the ball like Cole did or Marshy. Hope we get him, even though he looks a bit easy to read on a penalty kick and his left peg is purely for standing on. Should easily be good enough for L1. Always something a little more exciting when we are rumoured to sign a foreign striker. Maybe it's just the mystery of it all. When we sign a young kid on loan from a prem team, just doesn't have the same initial feeling. Edit - That goal on 1:20 haha, type of goal we would concede.
A Swedish friend of mine says the following: He is a good striker, did really well here in Degerfors in Swedish highest League, dont know how he has been in Holland, but if they loan him out to us so was probably he and go ahead Eagles not the perfect match. He is a pretty big and strong guy but scores most of his goals with his feet. Shows emotions on the pitch, he left from a successful period in Degerfors to big city team Djurgården but he never lifted there. Believe he and the manager didnt got along. But saw him in Degerfors a few games, and remember me thinking that there is a player that we could have use for in Barnsley. If he still is on that level then this is a real good signing. Remember him score a fantastic goal from the middle of the pitch, just like Beckham did back in the days.
When was last time we had a loan and signed permanent, watters, mersey was supposed to be nailed on,if they shone for us we ain't getting em.sorry for negativity.
