    Great atmosphere and terrific ovation at the end when the players walked round the pitch.
    Fortunately the pay on the day fans made sure we had more home fans than away.

    So I’m from Tarn but my son was born in Wales but loves Barnsley - had to try and explain to him why we call them dee dars and let me tell you it’s quite difficult trying to explain it when he’s not familiar with Yorkshire dialect other than Barnsley fans.

    It's like a speech impediment they just can't say thee and tha and den definitely comes into it. When you hear one in full flow it takes a lot of self control not to scream Dee-Dar childish I know but it just does.

    I called em Fritz at work. When they were giving it 6 fingered Dingle/s. Much more mature lol. :)

    Saw a car yesterday with registration AL 51 THE used to see it around regularly but this was first time I several years. Squashed up it read AL51THE
