Not that I'm claiming this transfer window has, thus far, been a scintillating success. We have no depth in terms of strikers and we haven't signed any wide players that Clarke has often spoke of. But the window hasn't shut yet. And if we're talking rumours, the only one I've heard about Faal is that Clarke didn't want him. Not that this rumour trumps yours, but they should both be filed under "It's just a rumour".
Why would we want unproven strikers. Go with the two we have and let Jalo Marshy and Dyer get game time ,over some of the options I've seen. Swedish guy and bloke from Luton looked good options. The others were meh
Would think that would depend on why he didn’t want him. If he has a bad reputation as an example as trainer/one of the lads or he just doesn’t fit into how DC wants to play then it would be worse to sign him.
Are we even interested in Faal. From memory, he's never been mentioned in any of the updates from Doug or Radio Sheffield. It's only ever been Alan Nixon who's linked him with us.
