    I agree be transparent it probably makes you look a bit less silly when things don’t work out if you explain it’s been taken from a rumour basically.

    My thoughts, I always remember Patrick saying he wanted to be a fan.
    Owning the club opened a huge can of worms for him, he really didn't want the aggro that went with owning the club.

    Regarding Taylor, surely the sensible option is to leave it be, if Luton still aren't committed to letting him out on loan, and there's clubs better placed than us interested too. I'd rather get someone in, rather than hold out hope of getting him and miss out completely. If anything, it's an indicator of how the window works if we're on the final day and the parent club of 2 of our named targets are still debating whether to let players go out.
