    Hourihane / Craig / Yoganathan / Wolfe

    Phillips / DKD / Benson
    Marsh / Watters / Jalo

I know Earl can play LB i put the players in their natural positions

Board done well. Still think we could have done with another LB and possibly another CB and CF (Unless there is still a signing in Morning)

Lets see what Clarke can do with this squad now

Excited for rest of the season

Top 10 squad. I’d say depending on how we are managed could squeak into play offs. A lot depends on Jalo given us an X factor upfront.

    He's absolutely tripe.

If we did need a LWB on a free. Guinness-walker is the best option, but he's not that great either. Should be fine with what we have.

We have Earl and Gent there, with Corey and Kyran who can play there if needed. Beyond that, young Bayley McCann.

Having watched the first few games, I don't see it as a glaring issue.

I think any defensive issue will be less glaring now we've options up top, plus Benson and Kelechi returning to fitness in midfield. I've been less than impressed in most of these early games, but we've created enough to have had better results. Let's see how we get on, now, with additions.

We can still add free players to the squad. Someone like Ladapo possibly.

Plus there could be others signed before deadline but not announced (Ennis loan)

That is an enormous squad and completely pointless.

You/we have 27 players there, you can still only play 11. If anything we need less players not more. Our recruitment should be less but better. That squad isn't a top two but definitely should make the play offs again

Agreed we don't need that many players.
As for the less but better. We've probably got about the best our wage structure will allow. Simple as that.

I still think we’re on the look out for another striker, I think there’s someone they’ve got their eye on. Free agent obviously.

We could be building something nicely, still lots of deadwood need moving on, but they’ll be handy backup for the time being, but what’s key is keeping the manager beyond this season to really build a promotion challenging squad.

I think the little money we do have could be better spent.. less players but better, two or three in a window instead of 7 or 8..

Yeah but my point is that if you have a wage structure, which we do, then whatever the top limit of that pay structure is limits the quality you can afford.
You can have the argument about whether we should increase what we're willing to pay our players but whatever that limit is will always determine the quality of player you can attract.

He’s never gonna be a regular and I couldn’t see him being prolific so can’t see any X-factor

a lot of people see a lot in him. It’s hard to say with kids his age with reputations. Will he develop into what many think he’s capable of hard to tell.

Personally I’ve seen enough in his cameos to think that integrating him the first team squad to use regularly as a 30 minute sub might gives us the stardust we need

He's abit of a wildcard, still young still raw. But with the other strikers avaliable he must fancy his chances of getting into the starting 11 regularly.

I bet you said toney was ****. Players don't reach there peak at 17/18 he must fancy his chances of been a regular with the other strikers available
