Barnsley Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Davis Keillor-Dunn on a permanent transfer from fellow Sky Bet League One outfit, Mansfield Town for an undisclosed fee. The 26-year-old pens a three-year deal at Oakwell, with the option of a further year in the Club’s favour. Mladen Sormaz, Sporting Director at Barnsley Football Club, said: “We are pleased to welcome Davis to the Club. It’s no secret that we have long been admirers of him as he is a top-quality player and provides us with further attacking options at the top end of the pitch. “We are confident that he will excel at this level, he has not taken the easy route to this point, but Davis has demonstrated the determination, enthusiasm, hunger we want in the building to help take the step to the highest level. “Darrell, the board, the recruitment team and I were in constant communication, and we are all delighted the deal is finally over the line and thank everyone at the Club for what was a team effort.” Our new recruit last season fired the Stags to promotion from Sky Bet League Two last scoring 22 goals and assisting nine times, earning the attacker a spot in the EFL’s and PFA’s divisional Team of the Year. Keillor-Dunn said: “I’m absolutely buzzing, yeah. It’s been stressful, it’s been a while, it’s took its time. Good things come to those who wait!” Welcome to Oakwell, Davis Keillor-Dunn! Thought we'd left it too late with this one but thankfully I was very wrong! Welcome DKD, absolutely buzzing with this one
The only time Styles will get a mention on here from now on is when a Baggies supporter comes on to tell us how **** he is.
Still really don’t know a lot about this lad, Mansfield rated him but I can’t really rate him on the opening day performance as it wasn’t all that.
Spent a while looking at his goals and he scores all sorts, left foot, right foot, overhead kick, tap ins, curlers, inside and outside box.... Looks like he will be a good addition.
