Barnsley vs Crawley - Starting XI

I'll go for the below. I think Lofthouse (looks like hes going to be a decent player to me) gives us some attacking balance down the left side, although I suspect he will pick Gent there. Other than that I suspect DKD will slot straight in(?) and the rest is as you were.

 

I would like to see that team with Craig, Connell, Phillips and Dunn in a diamond with Cosgrove up top. Although I think Watters has been better than Cosgrove so far I have a feeling that a Dunn and Cosgrove partnership would work better. Just my thoughts

 

I'd be happy to start the same team we had vs the Blunts TBH. Maybe the new boys on the bench, if they are ready. Hopefully Cosgrove back too.

If we play Cotter in the same position as Tuesday he needs defensive cover, so MDG at right back in a back 4 for me again.

 

One thing for sure Watters and Cosgrove need to up their games if they want to feature regularly.

 

The new signings aren’t eligible to play today.

 

Not a chance someone who signed yesterday is starting. He won't have trained with his new team mates all week to work on the tactics we plan to use today.
