How can we possibly answer that? Clarke has been here five minutes.
Of the other two, Val had the biggest short term impact of anyone I've ever seen but had been found out and has never had the same impact anywhere else. So Duff.

    Clarke, without a doubt.
They are his players now and look to want to do it for him.

I think we have a strong squad now and it's down to the coach to push us over forward.
I am not a big Duff or Val fan and believe Clarkes style is better than the other two just asking others opinion.
It's not a problem if you don't get involved but it would be nice to know if others think Val or Duff would be better than Clarke.

Coaches pick up squads and work with then. Coaches also have styles of play and management skills. As we know all 3 I thought it was a decent question to ask but happy to delete.

    Don't delete.
It's a reasonable question to get others opinions.
At least it's football related and not some of the other nonsense that belongs on a none football forum.

    Clarke, 100%.

I loved Val but he’s been on a massive decline since leaving us, not in terms of the sides he’s managed but in results terms.

I really wanted to get Duff back but he doesn’t strike me as a committed bloke. Did a good job, but never moved even remotely close to Barnsley, travelling from Cheltenham everyday… was never going to be a long term option.

I really like Clarke, just because he seems a proper normal bloke and says it how it is. I really want him to succeed.

No, eave it at all three. I genuinely don't see how you can judge Clarke on such a short space of time.
The only thing I will say is he seems a lot more willing to be flexible with systems which is good.

To close this thread down 90% voted saying as i interprete it they would prefer to continue with Clarke than bring back Val and Duff if that was an option.
That I believe is a real positive for where we are now as a club.

I'm not 100% sure of the point of this thread, and I'm 100% behind Darrell Clarke. But with the players we have now, particularly with the height, I bet Big Val would have loved this team.

Hypothetically if you had the choice to bring back Val or Duff to take charge of this squad now instead of Clarke would you. Do you think Duff and Val are better man managers, coaches tactical in game management than Clarke and get more out of this squad than he would?
If so you would vote for Duff or Val if not you would choose Clarke.
