    Enjoyed watching today. Good to see a national event come to Barnsley with world class competition. A great advert for the town and borough.

    Watched it when it passed the top of our street and like people say it’s a great spectacle it’s just a pity i don’t really understand it.

    Enjoyed watching it while working from home.
    I’ll tell ya what tho it’s had some impact on the roads! Out walking and I’m seeing every route gridlocked like when the M1 is closed, even back streets.

    The cyclists were outnumbeted by the number of police on motor bikes thst preceded them.

    Really enjoyed it & got to watch it in two places.

    Makes you realise how slow you are when you compare your climbing times against some of the riders competing today.

    Also barmy to see Remco Evenepoel who’s an absolute superstar in Belgium that gets mobbed everywhere he goes to just be able to stand on his own in Barnsley town centre & barely get noticed.

    More of the locals seemed interested in the Great Britain team that is just an assortment of riders from different trade teams not at the race rather than a who’s who of British riders.
