I know Fans dont think hes good enough. But what about that block right at the end from Aiden Marsh, threw his body at the shot and it went out for a corner. That won us the game.
Yes but his lack of pace really ristricts how far he will go in the game. Needs to build up and be stronger on the ball to make up for it.
His graft and his attitude are absolutely spot on, but I just can't see him making the grade as a striker. It might not be a terrible idea for him to think about a different position. Someone like James Milner made a career from not being technically brilliant, but grafting and knowing the game.
It was poor that the ref didn’t go back & book their defender who pulled him back. If he didn’t pull him back I think he would’ve had a one on one with the keeper
The manager who`s livelihood depends on it seems to trust him - for now that`s good enough for me. Marshy cares and always gives his all - in itself doesn`t mean he`s the bees knees but I like to see someone giving his best.
It was poor that the ref saw fit to book 3 of our players in the last 4 minutes of stoppage time, having booked none of theirs throughout the entire match. A pity because overall I thought he had a fairly good game.
