Thought Cosgrove had one of his best games as a target man. Agreed, it would have been a soft penalty, although I've seen a few of those given against us in the past.
Elsewhere I said that I thought the coaching staff seem to be making a difference this season as far as Barry is concerned. I hope he can start and deliver on a consistent basis going forward.
I am no expert mate, but read all posts on this thread….. it shows that your comments make you look daft I am afraid…. never mind bud we all reds
General feeling from Mansfield fans is he can drift out of a game for periods but will always get a chance and 9/10 he puts it away. I like him, he’ll be a massive player for us.
Confucius he say. (Or sumbdy like him ) When no one respects others' opinions, it can be described as a lack of respect for diverse perspectives or intolerance of differing viewpoints; depending on the context, it could also be considered arrogance, dogmatism, or a form of disrespectful behavior where individuals dismiss others' ideas without consideration. Anyone recognise themselves. Some of the views over performances yesterday differ widely. Doesn't mean one is right or one is wrong. Cosgrove a prime example. Garbage no. Fantastic No. Just my opinion
Not insulting you at all, dont tell me you have never been told you talk rubbish in your entirety?… I have been told so many an occasion , the trick is not to take it to heart. Your statement was poor in my eyes as it was also mentioned by many others, geron with it pal and no hard feelings I hope.
Looks to have cut down on the step overs, just the odd one and a shimmy and then get the cross in, last season he tried knocking the air out of the ball on every cross, lots more control this season. Had a good start to the season and always gives 100%
I had a good view of it, it's one of those 'modern' incidents where the attacking player actively tries to get fouled. Cosgrove put his legs in an unnatural position in order to ensure there was contact rather than playing the ball, and ultimately blocked their defender from getting to the ball. In my opinion anyway. I actually think Marsh was guilty of the opposite a little later on, and didn't go to ground when he probably could have when getting the right side of his marker. He remonstrated with the liner, saying he'd had his shirt pulled, but I think didn't get the decision because he kept on his feet and got a ball into the box.
