Barnsley fans vote in numbers. Won numerous Player of the Month, goal of the Month awards despite plsyers from so called bigger clubs having entrants and only last month, Slonina was voted player of the round in the Carabao Cup. I wouldn't bank on Alfie May winning it ahead of Phillips.

 

Where's the link for fans to vote, which is usually included, but as with most things this season, is omitted?

There's only ever been one, and that's not even happened yet

Hopefully there'll be a link posted as soon as Sky publicise the award but as you infer, I wouldn't bank on it.

Not even the others nominated. ?. I think Alfie May most likely will win. Based on performances at least equal and they've got more fans. Bit of a farce really. Being able to vote for your own player. But as simon sez, above lol. Stranger things happen.

Both equal on those fronts. May has a slightly higher average game rating. Betfred odds will only identify where the bets are going. Re the odds.

 

May is played further up the pitch and is surrounded by assets supposedly worth millions more than our own players, so he would be expected to do better than Phillips.

 

Just saying I think it's a farce that you can vote for your own players. Should just award it purely on merit to the winner.
